how choi ung from Our Beloved Summer describes me the most among all the K-dramas I’ve ever watched.

quotes i love the most. cr; pinterest.

i just finished watching a K-drama called Our Beloved Summer. it’s simply a drama about two former lovers who get pulled back to work together as a colleague for some documentary & an exhibition. but that’s not what i want to talk about.

there’s a main character named Choi Ung. i am so in love with him, with how he slowly living his life with his simple mindset. he just living his life based on his thoughts.

he is the most realistic character i’ve ever known in a k-drama universe(i’ve been watching LOTS of k-dramas) i cried a lot when i was watching this drama. there are thousands of amazing and realistic quotes & dialogues that relate to my life in many aspects — love life, uni, fam, and my own shitty thoughts.

sometimes i do act like i wasn’t interested in anything and act like i’m such an ignorant person, but then i realized. i was afraid. i was afraid that i might be such a worthless person by knowing and doing “such a thing”. i was too afraid of other’s people comments because my entire life was controlled by someone else’s mouth.

“i’ve become a worthless person who’s trapped in his own empty life” Choi Ung said.

damn, it fits me well. i just living my life like i should be as a human. i woke up every day, playing with my cats, texting with my friend, doing my responsibility as a college student without knowing what would i do next. i just living without purpose. i’m pretty much just like… a zombie? not “alive”, but still “alive”. i can’t stop saying i’m pathetic enough.

other than that, i would like to thank the writer-nim for making such a good story with amazing characters inside. thank you for making me want to have a boyfriend like him. he might be imperfect, but it makes him perfect tho. at least for me.
