As I write this, the wheels of genocide are turning.

The current situation in Gaza is dire, with a humanitarian crisis and human rights violations affecting the population. The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in the displacement of one million Palestinians, with entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble. One million Palestinians in Gaza are not having enough food to feed their families. The current hostilities broke out with about 95% of the population unable to access clean water and all of them unable to access electricity.

These indiscriminate killings have led to the tragic loss of over 8,000 lives. Hospitals, schools, mosques, and churches face destruction from bombings, violence spreads across the region, media centers & army headquarters bear the brunt of attacks. Innocent pregnant women, children, and even babies are being robbed of their lives. With each passing day, families are forced to bear the devastating loss of fathers, husbands, mothers, wives, sons, brothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and cherished family members.

I do not speak about any particular religion but humanity in the present moment. This is no longer a war. This is clearly a genocide.

I may live 5,623 miles away from Gaza. I may not have families in Palestine, but I deeply mourn for all the Palestinians who’ve lost their lives and have to continue to endure the loss of life up to this very moment. I stand with humanity, I stand with Palestine, and I think you should, too.
